01 / OUR STORY

A little pixel.
A big idea.

PixelLinks began with a simple ambition: give collectible golfers a life beyond the wallet.

Created by Alex Simpson and Bill Manwaring through Wombat Simpson Games, the original project brought pixel golf to Cardano. The 2021 whitepaper imagined a world of individual golfers, equipment and golf holes that players could collect and use to create their own golfing experiences.

A driving range followed in 2022. Each golfer had a distinct appearance and five skills designed to influence their game. The characters were always meant to be more than pictures: they were players waiting for their next round.

Today, we're picking up that idea again. The original golfers are our starting point, and a new browser game is the first step towards a living PixelLinks clubhouse.
